Under the Cover of Night Child Labor in Oriental Tobacco
Evidence from Western Türkiye This study shows that child labor in unpaid family labor in tobacco cultivation in Türkiye is both apparent and widespread. Child labor in tobacco farming is one of the worst forms of child labor. This is not only because tobacco leaves are poisonous. The study focuses on change in a solution-oriented, data-based, and multidisciplinary perspective by addressing the problems in a multidimensional and multi-stakeholder manner.
